The Boston TenPoint Coalition (BTPC) is an ecumenical group of Christian clergy and lay leaders working to mobilize the community around issues affecting Black and Latino youth. Their mission is to end the era of violence in Boston, and demonstrate the vital need for faith-based institutions to participate in city-wide crime reduction strategy.
My work with Boston Ten Point has included:
- Participation in neighborhood walks. It was during one of those walks that I met Al Copeland, who became a member of Life Church and is now part of our Leadership Team.
- Participation (once) in a gang-feud intervention.
